Classic Albums Live series founder Craig Martin says a concert in Toronto in December, 2006, will pay tribute to the Beatles with live performances, in order, of all of the tracks on all of their British albums.

The 12-hour-plus concert will begin with the first song from side one of the Please Please Me LP, “I Saw Her Standing There.”

The concert, a benefit, will also include choice non-album single sides placed chronologically among the album songs. The number of musicians on stage will vary from four to twenty, with the most required for the tunes from Sgt. Pepper.

The Beatles’ Classic Albums Live will begin at Toronto’s Phoenix Theater at 12 noon on December 17th.
