Lanzamiento del recopilatorio «20 Greatest Hits»

Se edita en Estados Unidos el LP recopilatorio 20 Greatest Hits que será nº50 en los rankings con 28 semanas en lista. La versión norteamericana difiere de la inglesa lanzada el 18 de Octubre ya que incluye seis temas distintos: Eight days a week, Yesterday, Penny Lane, Come Together, Let It Be y The Long And Winding Road en vez de From Me to You, Day Tripper, Yellow Submarine, Eleanor Rigby, Lady Madonna y The Ballad of John & Yoko.

En Estados Unidos se presenta el disco como «El Álbum de los veinte nº1». Las canciones quedan asi:
