El lanzamiento en EEUU es efectuado el 8 de Noviembre, y destaca una lista alternativa de canciones: «Give Peace A Chance», «Instant Karma», «Power To The People», «Whatever Gets You Through The Night», «No. 9 Dream», «Mind Games», «Love», «Imagine», «Jealous Guy», «(Just Like) Starting Over», «Woman», «I’m Losing You», «Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)», «Dear Yoko» y «Watching The Wheels».

John Lennon vuelve al estudio de grabación

Hoy es un dí­a histórico ya que, por primera vez en más de cuatro años, John vuelve a entrar en un estudio de grabación para comenzar a producir algo de música nueva. Usando un gran sombrero y llevando un maletí­n, es fotografiado por Roger Farrington entrando al estudio Hit Factory con Yoko. Con el productor Jack Douglas, John y Yoko comienzan a grabar canciones para Double Fantasy, que incluyen (grabadas por John): (Just Like) Starting Over’, ‘Cleanup Time’, ‘I’m Losing You’, ‘Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)’, ‘Watching The Wheels’, ‘Woman’, ‘Dear Yoko’, ‘Grow Old With Me’, ‘Borrowed Time’, ‘(Forgive Me) My Little Flower Princess’ y ‘I’m Stepping Out’.
