Paul McCartney se presenta en la Plaza Roja de Moscú

En un histórico concierto, Paul «regresa a la USSR», y toca en la Plaza Roja de Moscú como parte de su Back In The World Tour.

Tenían francotiradores en los tejados. Conocimos a Gorbachov. Fue increíble. Recuerdo que, a mitad del concierto, de repente, Putin entró en escena. Venía con su gente, sus guardaespaldas. Vi cómo se extendía la multitud entre los asientos. Se acercó al asiento central, se sentó y lo observó. La canción que estábamos tocando, irónicamente, era «Calico Skies». Esa melodía trata sobre las armas de guerra que tanto detestamos. Es lo más cerca que Paul llega a una canción de protesta.
